EDS, owned by HP, has signed an agreement with Microsoft Corp. to integrate and deliver the Microsoft® Business Productivity Online Suite for enterprise customers.
The agreement will encompass cloud computing and will be deployed to over 5 million users.
500 Gigabytes On A Single Disc? GE Says Yes!

GE Global Research announced the ability to store 500 gigabytes of data on a single standard dvd disc. The technology uses micro-holographic technology.
According to GE the discs will be able to read and write on systems that are similar to a standard DVD or Blu-ray player. It has taken GE six years to develop this technology that uses holographic imaging to write and read the data. Imagine being able to have your entire high definition collection on a single disc.

First Android Netbook Coming To You For Only $250

According to ComputerWorld, the world’s first Android OS Netbook will be released in about three months.
Guangzhou Skytone Transmission Technologies Co. Ltd. will be releasing the Alpha 680. It caused a wave of buzz as the prototype was seen at a tech show in Hong Kong.
It is estimated to measure 8.5 inches long, 6 inches wide and 1.2 inches thick, and be about 1.5 pounds.

Verizon With The Next iPhone?

AT&T may be out of iPhone luck. It was good while it lasted. According to a report by USA Today, Apple and Verizon are in talks about an iPhone deal.
The iPhone has been a cash cow for AT&T selling more than 17 million units.
Of course, this would be a huge win for Apple to access the network of another carrier. Verizon would also stand to be a significant winner.
The loser? AT&T of course.
